A Taste of Eastern Medicine
A special Oriental treatment to help patients recover
from a range of ailments has been brought to Fylde for the first
time.
Alison, a practitioner at the Oriental Medical Centre, St Albans
Road, St Anne’s, has been in Thailand learning the art of
Chi Nei Tsang.
It is aimed at helping people recover from disorders
including constipation, diarrhea, lower back pain, sciatica, asthma,
headaches, PMT and painful periods.
Alison explained: “As the head office of a worldwide training
organization, we have a high expertise in many areas of Oriental
medicine.
"We have complemented our treatment range by
bringing Chi Nei Tsang to the UK from Thailand. This therapy fits
perfectly into our range of expertise to add more strength to
patient recovery.
"Chi Nei Tsang -pronounced 'chee nay sang’ - is a deep
but gentle massage of the internal organs. By removing toxins
and blocked energy from the organs it aids the flow of blood and
lymph."
She added the treatment was also a great stress reliever.
